WhatsApp Update Brings Support for All File Types for Android users

Earlier, WhatsApp has released a note saying that the users of WhatsApp application will soon be able to share all types of files within the same app to other users, we have even covered the post regarding this note. Well, here’s a good news for you all Android users. WhatsApp has finally updated the app which now supports all types of files to share and to receive. The update is rolled out for Android users globally.

Apart from this, WhatsApp has added a new media bundling feature with a number of additional improvements to the app. The update aims to make your WhatsApp communication better with Chats and video calls and voice calls. The update is now available on Google Play Store for all the Android users.

With this update, users can now send any type of files within the WhatsApp application. Just open the app and select the users and then choose file attachment option. You will be open to browse the file manager of your phone and you can choose any file type you want to share with others. With this update, users can now even share .apk and other various file formats. You don’t need to use other cloud based services or any other applications by now, just update the existing WhatsApp application from the Play Store and you will be able to share all types of files instantly.

Furthermore, the bundle feature is also added to the update. If you receive a bunch of photos or files at the same time, this feature will now create an album automatically. You don’t need to scroll it again and again to view the first or last picture. Just tap on the album and you will be able to see all the received photographs or you can view the chats by scrolling a little only.

WhatsApp has even changed the layout and design of WhatsApp Voice calls and Video calls. So you will see a new design while you make a voice calls or video calls through the WhatsApp messenger app. s
