Google’s own messaging and voice calling app, Google Hangout pushes a new feature for iOS users to make a call from Apple’s built-in caller app with iOS CallKit.

This feature lets you make and receive calls directly from the phone’s built-in app and you don’t need to open the Hangouts app again and again. Yes, you heard that right. This newly integrated feature allows users to make instant voice and video calls easily.

Before using this feature, you have to enable VoIP from the phone’s settings option. This feature directly integrated with the phone’s dialer and you don’t have to use the app to dial a particular number.

You can use the Siri app to give command to use this app or can directly use it from the phone. Apart from this, there are a few other settings which you need to make in order to integrate this feature with the phone. Just enable the CallKit support from Settings option and you will be able to make and receive calls directly from the Hangouts app.

The new update brings a simple UI to the iOS device which looks similar to the current dialer of the device. You don’t need to make any other changes to integrate this feature. Just make proper changes and you will be good to go with the Hangouts application on your iPhone.
