T-Mobile’s Moto Z2 Force start receiving Android Oreo update

Motorola’s most popular mid-range smartphone, Moto Z2 Force gets a new Android Oreo update from T-Mobile. Yes, if you’ve been using a T-Mobile’s network on your Moto Z2 Force smartphone, then get ready for the new Oreo update to your device. In the last August month, the company had announced that the device would soon receive an Oreo update. Well, the time has come and the phone starts receiving the update already.

Earlier, Verizon Wireless has released this update for the Moto Z2 Force smartphone and today, T-Mobile has also pushed the same Oreo update for this phone. If you are using the same device, you would likely to receive a notification regarding this new Android Oreo update on the display of your Moto Z2 Force smartphone.

Many users of the Moto Z2 Force smartphone running on T-Mobile’s network have shared the screenshots about this update on various forums and social networks. The new Oreo update for the Moto Z2 Force carries a build number of OCX27. Additionally, the new update also brings December month’s security patch on the device with additional security.

Verizon Wireless has started rolling out the same update a week’s ago. So in the United States, Verizon was the only carrier to release this update. The update will soon be available for your device and you could see it on the display of your phone.

Once you see a notification regarding this new update on your Moto Z2 Force smartphone, just tap it out and start downloading this update for your device. After this, click on to the downloaded file and follow all basic instructions to install it on your device. Soon, your Moto Z2 Force smartphone will be upgraded to the latest Oreo update.

If you are not patient enough and can’t wait for a long time, you can even check for a new update manually right from your device. In order to check for the update manually, just go ahead and open the Apps menu. Select Settings option and then About Phone. Here, you could see an option, check for update. Kindly select this option and the system will start checking for a new update itself. If there is any new update available for your device, the system will show you and you can install it just like the above process by downloading it.

Since the update weighs over 1 GB, you should keep good enough space to let the update be installed on your device. Make sure you are connected with high-speed network so you can get the update downloaded without interruptions.
