Stable Oreo update now available in more countries for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+


A couple of days ago, Samsung has started releasing the stable Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. The much awaited Android update for these flagship phones are now available in more countries. Yes, Samsung has started pushing out the new Oreo update for the users of Galaxy S8 duos in more countries. 

The South Korean giant, Samsung has first released the stable Android 8.0 Oreo update for Galaxy S8 duos in Germany. Well, the company is now making this update available in countries like France, Poland, and India.

The new stable Android 8.0 Oreo update is released for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ devices with a firmware number G950/G955-FXXU1CRAP.

As you might know, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ users who have enrolled to Android Beta Program are getting the update as Samsung has announced that the Beta users will get the stable Oreo update a day before the public release. So yes, the update is now available for the Beta users of Android Oreo system.

It’s quite surprising that the United States is not in the list, not even the United Kingdom. We are certainly not sure what the giant is cooking for the mega markets of the world.

Samsung has delayed a lot in releasing this stable Android Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 phones. Millions of users of these phones were anxiously waiting for this update since for a long time which is finally releasing in phases for various countries. In the coming days, the giant will make this update available to the global market. However, there is no any specific release date revealed by any officials of Samsung yet for the United States and other countries.

Samsung has delayed this update because of the updation of their own Experience 9 UI. Yes, the new Android Oreo stable update brings a whole new customisable Experience 9, company’s own custom UI designed for Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

Before the official release of this stable update, a user of Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone got the stable Android 8.0 Oreo update in Vietnam. A day after this, the company has released this official update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphone.
