Samsung rolls out Oreo Beta 4 for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus


Yesterday, we have reported about the fourth Android Oreo Beta update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones from Samsung. Samsung’s UK Team has confirmed this new update and they have even posted the screenshots of the update as well. Well, as expected, Samsung has officially rolled out Oreo Beta 4 for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. 

The new Oreo Beta fourth edition for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones weighs around 850 MB so you need to have at lease 1 GB of free storage space in your device to load the update on a respective device. The update arrives with software version ZQL8 for both the devices. The update is same with its weight and version number.

The new update brings many improvements to the original User Interface of the phone’s UI with Bluetooth stability and a lot of bug fixes and minor errors on the phone with complete fix. Apart from this, as mentioned in the previous post, the new update i.e. fourth Oreo Beta update for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones will bring the December Month’s Security Patch. Yes, the new update also brings December month’s security patch with added security to your device. The Beta 3 update included the November Month’s Security Patch whereas this new Oreo Beta 4 included December Month’s Security Patch for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones.

Samsung has started rolling out this new update globally over-the-air. If your Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones run on an Android Oreo’s Beta update, you should receive a push notification about this update on your phone’s display. Once you see the update, download it and install the update to your device by following some basic instructions.

Apart from this, if you are unable to receive a notification on your phone regarding this new update, you can always check for a new update for your Android device from the Settings option. Just go to the Apps menu and launch Settings app. Scroll down till the end and select About Phone. Here, you could see the option, check for update. Select this option and the system will itself start checking for the new update. It will take a few seconds and if there is any new update available for your device, it will show you on the display. You can go ahead and install the update right away on your device.

Once your device is upgraded with the new Oreo update, we request you to reboot your device once to make the update stable on your device. After this, you should be able to see the changes in the overall performance of your device.

Samsung has also claimed to release the stable Android Oreo update for three high-end smartphones including Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones. The official Android Oreo’s stable update will roll out in the early 2018.

Apart from this, the South Korean giant has also announced its new Notebook 9 (2018) and Notebook 9 Pen. The new Notebook series will be seen in the upcoming CES 2018 and will be available in the market from the first quarter of the next year.
