Samsung rolls out fourth Android Oreo Beta for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Samsung’s recent high-end smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is on their way to receive a new Oreo Beta update. Yes, this is the fourth Android Beta update for the Galaxy S8 duos by Samsung. Samsung’s UK team has allegedly confirm about the next beta update of the latest Android Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. 

The same phones are now running with Android Oreo Beta’s latest edition which will soon get an Oreo Beta update 4. Samsung has claimed that they will release the final stable update for Android Oreo in the early 2018. However, the testing is still in progress and we have one more Oreo beta update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones.

There will be no more functions or changes to the fourth update of Android Oreo, however the update is there to fix all the available bugs on the system. Many testers of Android Oreo Beta for Galaxy S8 smartphones are coming up with some bug issues and other minor errors on the Beta update.

The current Android Oreo beta update will fix bugs on extensive battery consumptions by the apps, some synchronising errors with Samsung cloud, device rebooting while idle and much more. Apart from this, some of the Galaxy S8 users have found that the device vibrates itself without any notification. All such minor issues and bugs have been fixed with this new and fourth Oreo Beta update by the giant.

If we see the new changelog, it shows the new Google Security Patch for this current month. So it will be more advanced in terms of securing your devices from online attackers and threats. Additionally, there will be an improved Bluetooth stability and more fixes on the Bluetooth issues.

SamMobile has confirmed this fourth Oreo beta update on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. The update has some issues where people are requesting to wipe the devices. So if you are using an Oreo Beta update on your current Galaxy S8 devices, it is highly recommended to take a good backup of your phone’s memory. So you would not lose any data on your phone.

If we talk more about this update, the fourth Oreo Beta update weighs around 850 MB. Sadly, there is no any special dates on the release of this update for the Galaxy S8 devices. However, the update will soon make its way as the company has to release the final stable update as soon as possible. The update is being pushed out to UK and will soon release in the United States.

Since there is no any confirmation about the release of its final stable update for Galaxy S8 smartphones. As per the UK Beta Testers, the final Oreo update will be made available to Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones either at the end of the January or early February as promised. So the stable edition of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus phone will be officially rolled out in the early 2018.

If you live in the United Kingdom and have been using the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones, you will receive an update regarding this on the display of your phone. If you couldn’t see it, you can simply check for the update from the Settings menu of your phone. Just go to the Settings app and select About Phone app, from here select check for updates option. The system will itself check for a new update, if the update is available for your device, it will show you on the display. You can download and install the new update and can upgrade your device right away.
