Samsung Pay has now over 3 Million users in India


South Korean giant, Samsung is doing really great in the technology market with its new smartphones. The company has got a huge number of different types of technology gadgets and home appliances. Samsung’s own Payment gateway service, Samsung Pay has crossed over 3 Million users in India. Yes, the service is now being used by over 3 M users in India. 

A couple of months ago, we have reported that Samsung will make its Samsung Pay service available for non-Samsung devices. For the very same reason, it has crossed the mark of 3 M users in one country i.e. in India.

Samsung has announced the new Samsung On7 Prime smartphone in India yesterday. The giant has held an event where the Vice President of Marketing at Samsung Mr. Sandeep Arora has announced this device. During the event, he has also spoken about other Samsung’s services in the Indian tech market.

The company has introduced this Samsung Pay service in India in last year in March month. Since its introduction, the service has received over 3 Million sign ups, Sandeep Arora has added while speaking about the marketing side of the company.

Samsung Pay is one of the most efficient Payment services available in the market which supports most of the Indian banks. The service currently supports banks like Axis, Citi, HDFC, and Standard Chartered with cards like Mastercard, Visa and American Express. For unified payment options, the company has recently tied up a partnership with Paytm and UPI. This will add more number of users to this service.

Samsung has a bunch of different types of smartphones running on an Android Operating System. In India, a lot of Samsung smartphones support this Samsung Pay service. If we talk about the list of the devices, Samsung’s smartphones such as Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), A5 (2016), A7 (2016), Galaxy A9 Pro and Galaxy J7 Pro support Samsung Pay. All these devices are available in the market.

If we talk about the expansion, the company will soon start offering this Payment service to non-Samsung devices. For that, the company is currently in talks with other smartphones giant. They will soon make the Samsung Pay service available on their devices.
