Samsung to launch Galaxy S9 and S9+ on February 26


South Korean giant, Samsung is preparing for the release of its upcoming high-end smartphone and the next generation of its Galaxy S smartphone, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The devices have also cleared FCC in the United States. Today, we have got the news of the actual release date of these phones. According to sources, Samsung is going to unveil the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones on February 26. 

According to popular leakster, Evan Blass on Twitter, the South Korean giant is going to unveil the new Galaxy S phones in during the Mobile World Congress i.e. on February 26. Evan Blass, who is very famous and trustworthy leakster on mobile phones and other technology gadgets, has shared a Tweet regarding the launch date of these new phones from Samsung.

The Tweet reads as, “According to a C-level executive at a major casemaker, the go-to-market schedule for Galaxy S9 / S9+ is as follows:

Launch – 2/26
Pre-orders – 3/1
Ships/releases – 3/16”

The phones would official launch on February 26. You will be able to pre-order the devices from next month i.e. from March 1st. And as per the sources, the giant will start shipping these phones from March 16th. The global release of these devices is March 16th.

If we recall the history, the giant had announced the Galaxy S7 smartphones a month later than its regular schedule. However, this time, the giant is going to keep the schedule and they will release the phones on time i.e. during the MWC 2018.

Being the most anticipated smartphones of this current year, Samsung’s new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones to come with a set of advanced technical features including whole new innovations inside. The phones would carry an impressive set of features which you might have never thought of before.

Previously, we have seen that the company is preparing even more advanced Iris Scanner for the next generation of Galaxy S smartphones, so there will be even more powerful Iris Scanner and Fingerprint scanner on the device. Iris Scanner will be at the front panel while the Fingerprint Scanner will set at the back panel of the device with more functionality.

Apart from this, the phones are receiving regular leaks and rumors with many press releases. According such leaks, the new generation Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones are expected to be powered by Exynos 9810 Chipset, which is company’s new and most advanced Chipset announced earlier this month. The upcoming high-end Smartphones will be powered by this Chipset.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S9 smartphone will feature a singular camera at the back panel while the Plus edition will feature a dual rear camera with many more functions and modes for the perfect photography experience. The phones would also feature Stereo Speakers for powerful audio output.

The Galaxy S9 would feature a 5.8 Inch display while the bigger, Plus edition would come with a 6.2 Inch display. There will be bezel-less display on both the devices with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The devices will look much slimmer and handy with its tall design for the premium look.

Previous, there were reports which suggest that the company will announce the new phones during CES 2018, however later on, we have reports that the company will announce the phones during MWC 2018 at Barcelona, Spain. An alleged video render of the phone also released a few days ago which showcases the device from all the angles.

Additionally, we have also seen beautiful case render of these phones a few days ago. Later on, one more leak of the Galaxy S9 phones leaked with new press renders. We have even confirmed the official accessories for these phones. So all in one, we have seen these new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ phones from outside through the leaked renders, all we need to see is the software and other functionality of these devices.
