Samsung launches Galaxy Tab A with Bixby Home in South Korea


South Korean giant, Samsung has released a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A with Bixby Home in the home country, South Korea. The new Galaxy Tab A tablet will be available with two different variants, a WiFi variant and a 4G variant. The device features a set of advanced technology features to bring the best of technology to your hands. 

Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab A sports an 8 Inch display with 1280×800 pixels of screen resolution. If we talk about the measurement, the Galaxy Tab A has a thin design of 8.9 mm. The tablet packs with 5,000 mAh of battery.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A is powered by a 1.4GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of Internal Storage memory with an expansion option to expand the memory of the phone. The Tablet has a microSD card slot on it so you can insert a microSD card to expand the memory of your tablet.

Samsung has taken enough care to design this new generation tablet device for the South Korean people. The tablet features metal back and has rounded edges making the device more handy. It offers good grip to handle the device well in hands.

Interestingly, Samsung has expanded its Bixby Voice assistant service to its Tablet devices recently and this new Galaxy Tab A comes with this Bixby Voice Assistant onboard. It has also Bixby reminder which makes you able to remind of things just like your personal reminder. Apart from this, the Bixby Assistant has its own Home Mode feature.

The Home Mode feature in the device is pretty interesting as it shows useful things such as calendar, weather and other useful apps on the display while your phone is being charged. Apart from the Home Mode, you can even set upto 50 photographs from your Gallery and you can set this photos as screensaver on the device. The phone will show you the photos that you save as screensaver on the device.

The Galaxy Tab A features an 8 Megapixel camera at the back panel and a 5 Megapixel of front facing camera at the front panel. You can take the perfect photos through the primary camera and can record quality video through the camera. From the front facing camera, you can capture perfect selfies and can make proper video calls through the phone. You can even use a floating camera icon on the display to launch the camera on the go.

The Galaxy Tab A is currently available in the Home Country i.e. South Korea only. There is no any information on whether it will be available in other locations or not, however Samsung will surely make it available to other Asian countries before the end of this current year. We would hear some official announcements from the giant in the coming days.

If we talk about the pricing of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab A, both the variants of the Tablet carries a different price tags. The Galaxy Tab A Wi-Fi model is available at 264,000 or $240 and the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab A for 308,000 or $280.

Recently, T-Mobile has launched Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in the United States. The company is currently planning to release the latest Android Oreo update for the high-end smartphones including Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8. As per the official statements, the giant will be releasing this Oreo update for these smartphones in the early 2018. So we would not be able to see the official Oreo update for any Samsung device this year.
