Samsung’s next big smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 benchmarked for the first time. Yes, the South Korean giant has started working on their new premium smartphone called, Galaxy Note 9 which would be the successor edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone released in the previous year.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is by far the most expensive Android smartphone available in the market. The device carry a bunch of extraordinary premium technical features for the users who spent enough money to purchase the device. Well, Samsung is now preparing for the successor edition of Note 8 already which would come with even more powerful features than the existing Note 8 smartphone.
Samsung has announced the much anticipated, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The devices are yet to be released in the market. Yesterday, we have even seen a rugged Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 smartphone in the leak images. This clears that the South Korean giant is working on a couple of more smartphones for this year which could be released anytime soon.
A new Samsung smartphone with codename SM-N960U has been listed on a benchmarking website HTML5Test. The new headset from the South Korean giant will be using a set of powerful features and specifications. As per the information, there will be no changes in terms of its design. The new Galaxy Note 9 smartphone will acquire the same design of the predecessor i.e. Galaxy Note 8.
The new Galaxy Note 9 smartphone to come with infinity display just like the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones and will be featuring 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device would be much taller and come with handy design for everyone.
The reports or we can say the benchmark listing suggests that the Note 9 will be more powerful than any other premium Android smartphones. The benchmark listing scores 522 points out of a possible 555.
According to report, the phone will be launched with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. The report also added that the giant will soon release the Android 8.1 Oreo update for the device soon after its officially availability in the market. So we could expect the Android 8.1 Oreo update in a months time after its official availability.
If we talk about the model number, Samsung’s Note 8 device has SM-N950 model number while the newly listed, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone has SM-N960 model number. The company is increasing 10 numbers in the model. N960U for the United States is already headed towards the country so the device would come with a different model number in different country.
If we talk about the launch date, the South Korean giant will release the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone in the coming August month. The phone will not have an impressive design so you would not be impressed by the phone’s design apparently but it would come with a set of powerful software related functions and that is for sure.
The upcoming Galaxy Note 9 smartphone would acquire a lot of features from the Galaxy S9 phones. The device would be using the same, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 Chipset and would come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Previous reports have confirmed that the device won’t be using any Fingerprint Scanner underneath the display so there will be no in-display Fingerprint Scanner on the device. The device will come with more advanced Iris Scanner and physical Fingerprint Scanner on board.
