Samsung Galaxy J8+ with Snapdragon 625 spotted on Geekbench

The South Korean giant is currently releasing their newly designed Android 8.0 Oreo update with Experience 9 customUI to its older devices. The update is available for Galaxy S8 phones and the company has recently updated the list of Samsung devices to receive Oreo update in this year. Today, a new Samsung device with model number SM-J805G spotted on a benchmarking website, Geekbench. Reports say that this could be the new Samsung Galaxy J8+ smartphone.

Samsung has a variety of smartphones for all types of people around the world. In fact, the giant has the most number of smartphones for everyone compared to all the other smartphones manufacturers around the globe. Samsung’s Galaxy J series is quite popular amongst the mid-ranger users and it seems like the giant is now working on one more edition i.e. Samsung Galaxy J8+.

Apparently, Samsung may launch the Galaxy J8+ smartphone with two different variants using different Chipsets just like the other smartphones of the company. A few days back, the same device with Exynos 7870 chipset was spotted and today, the same device running with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 Chipset spotted. So yes, there would be two different and independent variants available in the market of the upcoming Galaxy J8+ smartphone.

Samsung aims at providing more system configuration on the Plus edition of the phone with better and faster performance with more memory. Samsung is quite popular amongst the mid-range smartphone market and this is the reason why the giant is constantly releasing new mid-range smartphones inspite of having a number of high-end devices in the bucket.

If we go through the listing of Geekbench, we could see that the device runs on an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The device has 4GB of RAM, on the other hand the previous device was listed with 3GB of RAM. Well, the listing doesn’t show off much about the phone’s specification, however the listing only reveals some of the specs of the device only.

According to various sources, the Galaxy J8+ smartphone would come with two versions named with FN and G. The FN variant of the Galaxy J8+ smartphone will be available in be available in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. while the G variant of the Galaxy J8+ smartphone will be available in South America and other parts of the world including the asian markets. Both the variants have different configuration for different markets.

It is still not confirm whether the company would also launch the Galaxy J8 smartphone alongside this device or not. However, we could expect to see some more listing and rumors with more leaks regarding the hardware configuration and more about this upcoming mid-range smartphone from Samsung i.e. Samsung Galaxy J8+.
