The Samsung Galaxy Grand lineup appears to get a new 5.5 inch variant as per a leaked GFXBench database. The benchmark details tip that a new model called Galaxy Grand 3 is in the making with a bigger 5.5 inch display. Other than boasting of a relative larger display than the Grand 2, the new mid-ranger seems to be upgraded in all aspects.
According to the benchmark listing that came to light, the Galaxy Grand 3 arrives packed with a 5.5 inch HD display unlike the Galaxy Grand Prime. It houses a 64 bit architecture powered Snapdragon 410 SoC using a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz backed by 1.5 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 graphics unit respectively.
Fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform, the Grand 3 appears to retain the same old 5 MP selfie camera at its front resembling the Galaxy Grand Prime. However, it seems to have upgraded the main camera to 13 MP and both the snappers have the ability to capture FHD 1080p video recording. While there is 16 GB of internal storage space, 12 GB would be user accessible and other 4 GB will be dedicated to TouchWiz and Android.
Other than these leaked specifications, there is no specific information on when the Galaxy Grand 3 bearing the model number Samsung SM-G7200 would be launched. Anyways, rumors claim that the device might go official in the coming weeks as it has acquired the certification for Bluetooth 4.0 compliance lately.
