The “rare” Jaguar E-type is back with an interesting twist

The Jaguar E-type is so far considered to be the most beautiful car crafted by the human race. This car which ran on petrol made a considerably good business during 1961 to 1975 and was later discontinued. You are considered lucky enough if you spot a car anywhere. It can be even compared to get a view of the Queen of England.

The Jaguar owners wanted to get the craze of this car back and took the opportunity to launch the electric version of this car which will be the cover off at Jaguar Land Rover’s Tech Fest in London on September 8th. This “E-Type Zero” version of Jaguar looks exactly like the 1968 series of the car, with electrification.
According to the reports, Tim Hannig, Director of Jaguar Land Rover Classic, said in a statement.

“This unique combination creates a breathtaking driving sensation. Our aim with the E-type Zero is to future-proof classic car ownership. We’re looking forward to the reaction of our clients as we investigate bringing this concept to market.”

This car can be swapped to a gas version if wanted by the user and it offers a snappy acceleration of 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds.
Given the rarity of the car, it is not expected to release a number of vehicles of this version.
