PlayerUnknown’s Battleground known as PUBG is one of the most popular games of the current period. The game is giving tough competition to the newly launched Fortnite game. The newest map in PUBG is now being called Codename: Savage. The map’s first alpha test will begin its testing from the next week and we would be able to explore this new small map very soon within the PUBG game.

The developer’s of PUBG corp have announced today that the new map Codename : Savage will start its testing from the next week. PUBG has currently two maps available, both the existing games are 8km by 8km. And the new Savage Map will be the first 4km by 4km map which is shorter than the available two other maps of the game.

8km by 8km map offers wide area to explore which makes the gameplay a bit slower. However, this new 4km by 4km short map will offer fast pace gameplay. This will eventually give you more intense gameplay to spend gold time.

Play Battlegrounds has officially released this information via Twitter. They have released a new tweet with proper details about the upcoming Savage Map.

As per their official Tweet, “Get ready. The first testing window for our new, 4x4km map, codename: Savage, begins April 2 at 7PM PDT. This will be a closed, limited time test. Expect more information on how you can sign up to participate soon: http://steamcommunity.com/games/578080/announcements/detail/1652133167128996306 ” You can check out the official Tweet which is embedded here.

According to officials, this is the first time they have released the content for the public for testing purpose. This will give them proper feedback about the new short map, and it will help the developers to accomplish their work before releasing the public update for this new Savage Map. This will help them to develop the better map and this is how the whole idea of releasing the testing map will work.

Since this is the first alpha state of the PUBG game, the testing edition will be made available to a certain number of players only at the initial stage. Later on, they will make this edition available for more users. Apparently, the first test will be limited and they have even promised to make it available at a larger scale with the next test edition.

If we talk about the timing, the PUBG’s Savage Map will be available for testers from 7 p.m. PT on Monday, April 2, to 4 a.m. PT on Thursday, April 5. PUBG has not announced much about this testing edition of alpha state of their new Savage Map. They are yet to announce how the players will get this Savage Map on their existing game. They will release more details about this game on Monday.
