Pandora And Vevo Among The Many New Apps Arriving On Xbox One

Microsoft has some Christmas gifts for Xbox One users. Despite stating that they were done with Xbox One updates for the year, they are bringing a few brilliant goodies for its users this week.

They’ve just revealed five new apps which will be released in time for Christmas. These apps are as follows:

  • Pandora
  • Vevo
  • Telemundo Now
  • Bravo Now
  • Popcornflix

2014 has proved to be a very good year for the Xbox One, with sales being pretty solid year round. Apps like Plex, HBO GO, Twitch and MLB.TV have been added which has added a lot to the user experience. Almost all the popular services are now available on Microsoft’s flagship console.

Pandora is a free internet radio and streaming service which is has become very popular in the past few years. Vevo is the very popular video hosting service which is owned jointly by Universal Music Group, Google, Sony Music Entertainment and Abu Dhabi Media. Telemundo Now is a venture of Telemundo, the Spanish broadcast television channel. Telemundo Now is their streaming app which is now available on the Xbox One. Bravo Now is bery much similar, it also offers streaming of popular TV shows and movies, and will now be available as an app on the Xbox One. Popcornflix does pretty much as its name suggests. It is a platform to watch popular movies.

Xbox One users are all smiles with this announcement from Microsoft. Microsoft hasn’t given a date, but have told us to expect these releases by Christmas.
