HMD Global has released its much awaited high end smartphone, Nokia 8 in the market which has already created a huge buzz around the technology world. The phone is running on an Android 7.1.1 Nougat Operating System which will soon get a new Oreo update. As the company is now working for the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Nokia 8 smartphone.
Ahead of its official availability, the Nokia 8 is also coming up with its new 6GB variant. The phone had already received its FCC Certification which is now making its way to launch in the real digital market. Nokia 8’s current version has 4GB RAM which many people don’t like as the latest high end smartphones are now offer 8GB RAM. For the users’ demand and the competition, HMD Global has decided to come up with the 6GB variant of the phone.
According to reports, Nokia will soon launch an upgraded version of the newly announced high end smartphone, Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM. The upgraded version will have 128GB Memory instead of 64GB in the current version. One obvious thing is the pricing for this phone would be a little high than the original variant so it would be more costlier than the original variant having 4GB of RAM.
Nokia will start selling its 6GB variant from the October month. Initially, the 6GB variant of the phone will be available in Germany and soon it will be available in other nations of the world.
If we talk about the specifications of the original variant, the new 6GB variant of the phone carry the same set of specifications. To recall its features, the phone sports a 5.3 Inch display with 2K support. It offers 2560×1440 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, the phone would be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor which offers good performance.
The Nokia 8 has a dual rear lens with 12 Megapixel of camera at the back panel. The cameras are developed with Carl Zeiss. The phone has 3090mAh battery to boost power to the phone along with that, it has USC Type-C port to recharge the device. It will be priced at 669€ for the new variant of 6GB RAM and for the 4GB RAM it will be priced at 579€ which is around 90€ higher.
The new Nokia 8 with 6GB variant will be more expensive than the original variant. The phone would be available in Polished Blue color variant and there is no any other color options available.
Nokia 8 has a tough competition in the market as there are many other giants who have recently launched high end devices in the market.
