Nokia 6 (2018) gets certified by TENNA

HMD Global’s mid-range Android smartphone is back on the list. The new Nokia 6 (2018) edition is going to launch in the early 2018. So the first HMD Global device to be launched in the next year is the newer edition of Nokia 6 (2018). Nokia 6 was originally launched in the January month this year so this makes sense that the new Nokia 6 (2018) would also be unveiled in the January month of the next year.

The good news is that, the upcoming edition of the Nokia 6 smartphone with 2018 edition is recently certified by TENNA in China. Just like very other listing, the TENNA listing also reveals a lot about the phone and its features. Every smartphone has to go through this process to be sold out in the Chinese market. So it is confirmed that the new HMD Global’s smartphone is making its way in the January month, next year. However, this time, the TENNA listing doesn’t reveal much about the phone’s specifications and more.

However, we have received a bunch of leaks and rumors regarding this new edition of the Nokia 6 smartphone in the past. As per the rumors and leaks, the new Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to feature a 5.5 Inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device would be more taller with full view display.

Furthermore, the Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone would be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM with 32 GB Memory Storage option. There will also be an additional microSD card slot available on the device to expand the memory. The phone may feature a dual rear camera setup at the back panel.

Apart from this, the phone will also feature a Fingerprint Sensor which would be placed at the back panel of your phone. So the phone would feature a bezel less display. Additionally, the device will also feature software rendered Android Navigation buttons on the phone. The bothie feature on the phone will be right there on the camera front.

As per the TENNA’s listing, the upcoming Nokia 6 (2018) edition carries a model number, TA-1054. The phone will come with a dual SIM version only. If we talk about the design, the Nokia 6’s new edition would look as same as the recently launched Nokia 7 smartphone.

As per the reports and leaks, the new generation HMD Global devices will feature tall screen with less bezels and the display would carry the aspect ratio of 18:9. So one thing is confirmed and that is the company is going to release this phone at the beginning of the next year.

Sadly, there is no any specific release date or its pricing and other information revealed yet. However, the officials will soon release more details about this phone, all we can do is wait for some more days for the official announcements.

Recently, Nokia 6’s previous edition gets a price cut on Amazon which is now available with an affordable price tag. Apart from this, Nokia 3 smartphone recently gets a new software update with December month’s security patch.

Apart from Nokia 6 (2018) edition, the company may also announce a new Nokia 9 smartphone which would be the successor of the Nokia 8 phone. The Nokia 8 will also get a new Nokia 8 (2018) edition which is going to be announced in the next year.

HMD Global is currently planning to release the official Android Oreo update on its Nokia smartphones. Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are the upcoming Nokia phones to get the official Android Oreo update. The company will start releasing the stable Oreo update for these phones from the next year.
