The much awaited retro edition from Nokia, the new Nokia 3310 3G smartphone is coming to the US on October 19th. Nokia has released the Nokia 3310 smartphone’s new edition in last year, however there is no any availability of this phone in the US market. After a few months, the company has announced the 3G variant of the same phone. And now, the US people will be able to buy this phone as the pre-orders for this phone has begun already.

The new Nokia 3310 3G smartphone is a faster version of the original Nokia 3310 smartphone with more powerful processor and 3G network compatibility. The phone will work on GSM carriers in the US with AT&T and T-Mobile and not with Verizon and Sprint. This is something really interesting as there are thousands of people who also want to try out this new version of the popular old age phone, Nokia 3310.

The new Nokia 3310 3G serves more durable design with longer battery life and plenty of extraordinary features. The phone has a 2.4 Inch color screen on which you can play the old-age Snake game.

If we talk about the pricing of this phone in the United States, the new Nokia 3310 3G is priced at $59.99 in the US markets. This is actually the most cheapest smartphone if we compare it to any other Android smartphones. The phone was first announced in Australia where it carries the price tag of AU$89.95. Talking about the UK, the phone is priced at £59.99.

If you live in the US and looking for this phone to purchase in the coming days, the pre-orders of this phone has begun already and you can pre-order your Nokia 3310 3G smartphone right now through Best Buy. At presently, Best Buy is the only option from where you can pre-order this phone. The phone is currently available in four different colors including azure or blue, yellow, warm Red, and charcoal or dark gray.

Since the phone works with 3G networks, in terms of battery life, it will not offer longer battery life as the original 2.5G variant. 3G network consumes more power and for that reason, you will not get good battery life. The standby time for this phone is 27 days and talk-time time is 6.5 hours. You can play music for 40 hours through single charge of the phone.

The model which is up for pre-order on the Best Buy is an unlocked variant to work with all the GSM networks in the US. It’s a dual SIM phone so you can run multiple SIM cards at the same time if you wish to buy one. The shipment of this phone will begin at the end of this current month as mentioned on the website.

If we talk about the other announcements, HMD Global has recently released its much awaited new Nokia 7 smartphone in the market with plenty of amazing features inside including the Bothie Camera feature to use both the cameras, front and back, simultaneously. The company is also planning to launch a new Nokia 2 smartphone in the coming November month. Furthermore, the company is also working on Nokia 8‘s update of Android 8.0 Oreo OS. So we would get to hear a lot of announcements by HMD Global on the Nokia smartphones in the coming days. You can head over to the official Best Buy’s page for more information regarding the pre-order and other information on the phone’s availability.
