Nintendo has played a major role in shaping the childhood of many of the kids back then. At a small age, Nintendo was their first gadget they could get hands on and gave them access to the gaming world. When the NES Classic Edition was announced earlier, many of the fans rejoiced that they would be able to play their favorite games on Nintendo again; but it also disappointed them as they stopped its shipments in spring this year.
Originally launched in November 2016, the Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom was also discontinued this spring, temporarily. At that time, Nintendo stated,
“When manufacturing resumes, we will provide information at another time on this homepage.”
Recently Nintendo took up to their twitter handle and announced that Famicom Mini production was resuming in 2018, the re-launch date being revealed sometime in future.
After disappearing from stores, the NES Classic Edition will be returning next year with a bang. But that’s not all, the Super NES Classic will continually be shipped through 2018. The SNES Classic which was slated to end shipments this year, expects more consoled to be released on September 29th for North America. The NES Classic will return next summer, after being discontinued this spring. Nintendo is expected to announce more details at a later date.
