As the IFA 2014 is fast approaching, the tech manufacturers are busy in prepping to launch their big devices for this year. While the rumor mills have been largely focusing on Android biggies, here is interesting information for those looking for non-Android devices.
Well, Redmond based software giant Microsoft has come up with media invites suggesting that it will be holding a press event on September 4 at the IFA 2014 in Berlin. While the exact purpose of the event is unknown, it appears like the tech world will be witnessing the launch of a Windows Phone smartphone.
The invite reads, “ready for more?” with a rear snapper module for the ‘o’ in more. This snapper resembles the camera that is believed to be seen on the yet-to-be-announced Lumia 830 smartphone that is codename Tesla.
Also, the tag line “Join us for more face time” hints that the Lumia 830 smartphone could be accompanied by yet another device that is alleged to be the Lumia 730. The latter has been making rounds in gossips since quite a long time with the codename Superman and it is claimed to be a selfie focused smartphone. Thereby, the invite hints that Microsoft could be launching these two smartphones at the upcoming IFA 2014 tech show in Berlin.
When it comes to specifications, the rumors claim that the Lumia 730 will be featuring a 4.7 inch HD 720p display and arrive with a 6.7 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with a seflie focused front-facer onboard. The device is likely to use a Snapdragon 400 processor supplemented by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of expandable internal storage capacity. On the other hand, the Lumia 830 is speculated to be an expensive device with a 13 MP primary shooter at its rear and a Snapdragon 800 chipset. Otherwise, both the handsets are believed to run on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
