Jugnoo acquires SabKuchFresh, targets hyper-local


Jugnoo, India based on-demand auto-rickshaw aggregator has acquired SabKuchFresh, an online store for fruits and vegetables, for an undisclosed amount to strengthen the recently launched hyperlocal service, Fatafat.

This acquisition comes after the startup raised $10 Million in Series B round from PayTM (Mobile payment platform), Rocketship VC and Snow Leopard in April this year.

Speaking on the development, Samar Singla, CEO Jugnoo said that the new acquisition is one step forward to enable the auto drivers to earn some extra money. He further added that Jugnoo is working to create a logistics network for the mass market and tapping the hyper-local markets till the last mile possible will be the first step.

SabKuchFresh has tied up with over 100 farmers and it has a great set of B2B and B2C users. Jugnoo has hired a new team to take care after the operations of the new acquisition, which will help Jugnoo to provide better hyper-local services to the users in coming time. It will also keep in mind the major factors of hyperlocal delivery including sorting, packaging, quality check and ensuring the quality of the product.

Jugnoo was founded in 2014 by Samar Singla and Chinmay Aggarwal. It’s auto aggregator service is present in 29 cities across India and it has a user base of over 120 million people. Currently, it is working on 3 verticals, the auto rickshaw aggregator, hyperlocal service provider and online meal delivery.
