By | September 23, 2017

Apple is back on the headlines as the company has now extended the rental time for the movies on iTunes. The customers who rend a movie has to finish watching it in 24 hours. However, with this new update, you can have 24 hours extra along with the rented movies. You can now finish watching the rented movies in 48 hours.

As per the MacRumors, Apple has silently extended the rental period by 24 hours which is now giving users an additional 24 hours of time to finish a particular movie. The clock will start playing once you click on to the rented content. In the given time period of 48 hours, you can watch the movie as many times as you can within the period of 48 hours.

As you know, Apple has recently launched a new generation Apple TV named, Apple TV 4K. The new generation Apple TV now allows you to watch your favourite movies and TV Shows in 4K contents. It also comes with the support of HDR resolution so you can bring the reality to your Television set with the help of 4K HDR contents.

Apple is planning to expand its service to the people who are looking for rich entertainment and that is why they have introduced this all new Apple TV with 4K and HDR support. Netflix has also recently updated their App which now supports 4K HDR contents on iPhone and iPad Pro. Apple TV 4K is capable of streaming 4K Contents from iTunes and other providers.

Earlier this morning, we have found that the Apple TV 4K only lets you stream the 4K contents movies from the iTunes and you can’t download the movies from there. You can still watch the HD contents offline when there is no Internet connectivity. Or you can download the 1080 pixels or we can say HD movies from here, but again, you will not be able to download movies with 4K resolution.

Since we all have good high speed Internet connection at home, we might not actually in need of downloading 4K contents through Apple TV as far as we can stream it online.

As per the reports or the support documents, users will be given 30 days to start watching a movie once rented. However, the clock will start once you start playing the movie and you have to finish watching that particular movie in 48 hours of time period.

People who often rent different types of contents from the iTunes may find this new 48 hours extends policy a good move and they will definitely going to welcome the move made by Apple. This might even attract new consumers as well as they will be given extra 24 hours to finish the rented content.

Including the United States, this 48 hours rental policy extended to other countries as well. Additionally, if you download a rented movie to watch it anytime, you will not be able to do so. You have to finish the movie in 48 hours of time period even if you have downloaded that movie.

Well, Apple is going to change the perceptions of everyone who are used to buy the Apple products. Since the competition is very high, Apple has to offer a variety of services to the users to make them stick to their own services for longer time. Fortunately, to stream out the 4K contents on iTunes, you will not be asked to pay extra bucks. If you have already purchased movies with HD quality, you can even watch it in 4K resolution, you don’t have to pay any extra bucks for the same.
