Apple has made the new iOS 11 operating system official for over 20 different types of iOS devices. iOS 11 brings a set of innovative features to the iOS devices, however there are some tricky features which requires a bit of knowledge to work on the devices. Turning off Bluetooth and WiFi is a tricky thing on the new iOS 11 which Control Center doesn’t support. On the same, Apple has clarified why Control Center doesn’t let you turn off WiFi and Bluetooth.¬†

Control Center in the new iOS 11 has plenty of functionality to work with your iOS devices, however there are still some things which are not available to use on the iOS 11’s Control Center. One of the much needed feature is to turn on and turn off WiFi and Bluetooth, however the iOS 11 doesn’t allow you to easily do so.

Apple has built in services to use with the WiFi and Bluetooth on the iOS 11 devices. Services like AirDrop, AirPlay, Handoff, Instant Hotspot, Apple Pencil, Apple Watch and Location Services are somehow depend upon these WiFi and Bluetooth features. So, if you instantly disable them with the help of the Toggle button, all these services will itself turned off which is not a good thing for the users.

If you toggle off the WiFi and Bluetooth buttons from the Control Center of your newly upgraded iOS 11 device, the Radios will be available and continuously working for the above listed services.

Now what if you turn off the WiFi feature from the Control Center on the iOS 11 just by tapping on to the Toggle button? All the connected services through WiFi will be disconnected and this is the reason why the service keeps WiFi network active even if you disable it from the Control Center.

When you turn off the WiFi button from the Control Center of your Control Center, all the auto-join features will be disabled. So you have to restart your device or Turn on WiFi from the Control Center by visiting the Settings option. This is how you can use the Auto-join functionality.

The same thing goes with the Bluetooth. If you turn off the Bluetooth feature from the Control Center of your iOS 11 device, you will not be able to connect any other accessories to the iOS 11 until you start the iOS 11 again on your device. For the same reason, you have to turn on the Bluetooth feature from the Control Center. You can even Restart your device for the same of can visit the Bluetooth option by visiting the Settings and then Bluetooth.

If you want to turn off both the services, Bluetooth and WiFi completely on your iOS devices to not let connect with any other accessories or services, you can simply turn them off with the help of the Toggle button from the Control Center.

To turn off the WiFi from the Control Center, just go to the Settings and select WiFi option. Tap on to the Toggle button to turn it off.

To turn off the Bluetooth from the Control Center, just go to the Settings and select Bluetooth option. Tap on to the Toggle button to turn it off.

You can restart them by visiting the same Settings menu and Tapping on to the Toggle button to turn them on. You can then manually connect with other services or accessories as per your requirements.
