Honor 7C set for launch on March 12


Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has a number of smartphones with different ranges for all the smartphone enthusiasts around the world. In face, the company is known as one of the best smartphones makers in the world and in some markets, the company is on top position with best selling phones. Honor is now preparing for the launch of their new smartphone, Honor 7C. The device will be announced on March 12 in China. 

A couple of weeks ago, we have seen some of the specs of the Honor 7C smartphone as the phone visited the Chinese website, TENNA. The new Honor 7C would be a lighter edition of the original Honor 7X smartphone which was announced a couple of months ago.

The company has officially posted the invite for this event which is held on the coming March 12 in China. The poster reveals further information about the upcoming mid-range or we can say budget friendly smartphone from the company, the Honor 7C.

As per the poster we can figure out that the new Honor 7C smartphone would be a toned down version of the original Honor 7X smartphone. The device is expected to feature a dual camera at the back panel which would use different sensors for the perfect photographs.

The post also reveals that the device could come with face recognition technology with image beautification. The device would sport a 5.99 Inch display and would come with a dual-SIM support to use multiple SIM cards at the same time.

As per the sources, the new Honor 7C smartphone would be priced same as Xiaomi’s newly launched Xiaomi Redmi 5 smartphone in the Chinese market. The launch event is held in Beijing, China where the company will unveil the device with more specific information about the features and specifications of the device.

The new Honor 7C smartphone is expected to be priced around $249.99 in the global market. The reports also claim that the phone would come with three-stage antenna design and would be designed with full metal body.

As per previous leaks of TENNA’s listing, the Honor 7C sports a 5.99 Inch HD+ display with 720×1440 pixels of screen resolution. The device would come with an 18:9 aspect ratio which makes it look more taller and handy at the same time.

Furthermore, the Honor 7C is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. There would be two different variants of the device, with 3GB and 4GB of RAM.

On the camera front, the device to feature a combination of 20 Megapixel + 13 Megapixel of rear camera as dual camera and an 8 Megapixel of selfie-shooter camera as Secondary Camera on the device. The selfie shooter camera gets you the perfect selfies and you could even make HD video calls through the device.

The device should be running on an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and would be backed up by a 2,900 mAh of battery capacity. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS would be there on-board.

If we talk about the color variants, the company is going to make this device available in different color options including Black, Gold, and Blue colour options. More official information will be revealed soon as the phone is getting launched on March 12.
