Google’s upcoming Pixel 3 Lite devices passes through FCC

Google had launched its Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL smartphones last year. Now, the company is planning to come up with the cheaper variants of their Pixel 3 Smartphone. The new Google Pixel 3 Lite and Google Pixel 3 XL Lite smartphones spotted at the US FCC. The listings of these new smartphones revealed some specs of these upcoming mid-range smartphones.

Google is yet to confirm its plans to launch these mid-range phones; however, the FCC filings have made it clear that the smartphones will soon be launched in the technology market. According to sources, the company is expected to launch these devices in this Spring.

The company has filed eight new model numbers of their phones i.e. four variants for each device. These are the model numbers filed by Google at the US FCC, G020AG020BG020CG020DG020EG020FG020G, and G020H. The listings reveal a lot about the phones’ specifications. All the devices will come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE Support and NFC.

If we go by the rumors, both the devices will be powered by the latest Chipsets. The reports claim that the new Google Pixel 3 XL Lite and Pixel 3 Lite smartphones will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 or Snapdragon 710 Soc. The devices to come with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB of RAM with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of RAM. They may also come with even more advanced versions featuring larger storage space and big RAM.

Moreover, the Google Pixel 3 Lite smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5 Inch display while the Google Pixel 3 XL Lite to come with a 6.0 Inch display. There will be no dual camera setup on these devices. The devices will come with a 12 Megapixel of Rear-facing camera and an 8 Megapixel of a front-facing camera at the front panel.

The company will offer the traditional 3.5mm AudioJack on these devices. So there will be a good option for the people who are missing the traditional audio jack in the latest smartphones.

The Pixel 3 Lite to come with a battery capacity of 2,915 mAh. While the Pixel 3 XL Lite smartphone will come with a 3,300 mAh of battery capacity.

The Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite will be running on Android’s latest Operating System, i.e. Android 9.0 Pie. Both the devices will have their own customizable Android Operating System with Google’s default Apps and launcher.

What could be the pricing of these new Google Phones?

Well, there’s no concrete information available with us regarding the pricing of Google’s new devices. However, we can expect these devices to carry the price tag of $400 to $500 in the US market.

Google Pixel 3 Lite and Google Pixel 3 XL Lite: Release Date and Availability

The new Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite will be available from this Spring. The company will first release these devices in the US market. Verizon will be the first carrier to offer these devices.
