Google’s popular and most recent smart storage app, Files Go is coming out of its beta version and now available with its full stable version globally. Google’s Files Go app is amazingly brilliant as it offers a variety of functions to manage your files and to do various file management things. Apart from this, Google has also announced a few other apps and new Google Go edition for Android One smartphones.

If you are keen to technology and its new applications, you probably might be aware about Apple’s AirDrop platform. Google’s Files Go app does offer kind of the same User Interface with which you can simply manage your phone’s and external storage’s files and other documents which are stored in your device.

Files Go application works smoothly as it offers super faster data transfer speed which lets you transfer files from one device to other at a speed of 125Mbps. Interestingly, the app doesn’t require any kind of Internet connectivity so you will not lose any of your mobile data while transferring files through this application. However, it requires both the devices to have the Files Go app installed.

If we talk about the mobile version of this application i.e. Files Go app, the app will suggest you to delete duplicate files from the device. It will also suggest you to uninstall unused apps from your device so you can make some extra space on your device if you are running out of space.

Back in November month, Google has released the beta version of this Files Go app after it was accidentally leaked with unreleased version on the Play Store. The giant has made the beta version available for your device to test it out. And now, the giant has finally released the full version of Files Go app globally.

Talking more about the app’s actual functionality, Files Go is beautifully designed file manager app. The app lets you show all the files, applications, documents, videos and more stored in your device. You can view files and can delete or copy or move them as per your requirements. Files Go’s offline file sharing is secured with WPA2 encryption which provides more security to your device.

Interestingly, Google Files Go app is also syncs itself with Google Drive and other Google related services so you can directly backup the files which you want permanently saved in your device. So this is also a reason to use this app. The app weighs around 6MB so it doesn’t require more space to install on an Android device. The light weight app works smoothly and gets you the best of user interface.

The Files Go app is designed by Google especially for the Go Edition devices, however the app works well in any Android device running on an Android 5.0 Lollipop or above version. Google claims that a user can save upto 1 GB of space by using this application on an Android device. So if you are badly looking for some more space on your device, Files Go will help you out to remove unnecessary files and apps from your device.

Being a Google product, every Android user should give this app a try as it is compatible with almost all types of Android smartphones. You might be using an Android device with Android 5.0 Lollipop or above version as almost all the devices are now upgraded with latest Android updates.
