The Google Pixel 2 and the Google Pixel 2 is rumored to be launched on the October 5th, according to Even Blass, a famous tipster who have been tipping people about the releases for a while now. All the leaks that he has given till now came true and according to him, the Google Pixel 2 is going to the public in October. He also suggested that the two devices will have the SD 836 (The Snapdragon 836, bit octa-core version. However, the SoC is not yet announced). The processor will land in the future and it will have an iterative version of the Snapdragon 835.
