Google launches Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Home speakers, Pixelbook laptop

Google has unveiled its new range of technology gadgets for this year including the much awaited and the second generation of its Pixel smartphone series, Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. The company has also unveiled its Google Assistant based smart speakers. Apart from this, the company has also introduced new earbuds, Pixelbook and a variety of other items. We have gathered all the information including the features and specifications just to let you know more about them. 

 

Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL

The new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors with 4GB RAM. Basically, there are two variants of these devices with 64GB and 128GB of memory storage options. You can choose the right device to as per your basic requirements. Both the devices carry a set of common specs such as the cameras, processors and speakers.

The devices has 12.2 Megapixel of rear camera. It features autofocus with laser, optical and electronic image stabilization and dual phase detection. While the front facing camera on these devices is of 8 Megapixel. The phones feature Bluetooth 5.0 for super faster file transfers. You can connect multiple devices at the same time with this technology. The devices don’t have any headphone jack. They use USB-C port for charging and there is no any wireless charging option available.

If we talk about the differences between these two phones, the Google Pixel 2 sports a 5 Inch OLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution while the Pixel 2 XL sports a 6 Inch Smart OLED display with 2880 x 1440 pixels of screen resolution. As per the reports, the new Pixel devices would be available in three different color options such as white, black and blue.

Pricing & Availability 

Preorders for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have already begun. The company will start shipping these phones from October 19th.



Pixel 2 with 64GB is priced at $649 while the 128GB variant is priced at $749.

Pixel 2 XL with 64GB is priced at $849 while the 128GB variant is priced at $949.

Google Pixel Buds

Since there is no any headphone jack available on the newly launched Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, the company has launched the all new wireless headphones which is called Google Pixel Buds. This new generation wireless headphones are here to give tough competition to Apple’s own Airpods.

These new wireless headphones can be charged through USB-C port and it will give you five hours of listening time with single charge. The new Google Pixel Buds offer a variety of features to make you even more smart. It has builtin Google Assistant which you can activate by yourself. You can ask anything or it will be able to translate things instantly. So you can activate it and it will do the things rightfully for you. It requires a single time setup only.

The new Google Pixel Buds have three color options including Black, White and Blue. Google’s official website says the new Pixel Buds will be available in the market after six to seven days. The new Google Pixel Buds are priced at $159.



Google Clips

Google has stepped into a whole new industry by launching its own Artificial Intelligence based small action camera called Google Clips. If you are unable to capture the moments, then give this camera commands through voice assistant and it will work as per your commands. Google Clips camera will capture the photos automatically. This camera is not that powerful, however it will capture and record the right moments without sound clearly.

The new Google Clips come in two color options including white and teal color. It has 12 Megapixel of camera to capture things with 130-degree field-of-view lens. It has 8 GB of Memory Storage option and it will be able to capture and record things for 3 hours.

The new Google Clips camera is priced at $249.

Google Home Mini & Google Home Max

Google has introduced a new range of its smart speakers which come with a bunch of advance technology features. The all new Google Home Mini is a tiny smart speaker which you can use to listening to different types of news podcasts and music. The new smart speaker come with an eye catchy design which looks just adorable.

Google Home Mini is available in chalk, charcoal, and coral color options. The Home Mini is priced at $49 and it will be available in the market from October 19th.

Apart from this, the company has also introduced the new Google Home Max smart speaker as well. This speaker has two additional stereo speakers with two 4.5-inch woofers. This new Speaker claims to be 20 times more powerful than the original Google Home speaker. This Google Max speaker comes in two color options, Black and White. It is priced at $399. The speaker will be available in the market in the coming December month. With the promotional offer, the new Google Home Max will come with one year of free subscription of YouTube Red.

Google Pixelbook

Last year, the giant Google had unveiled Google Chromebooks in the market. Well, for this year, Google has brought high end laptops named with Google Pixelbook. The Pixelbook has a 12.3-inch high-resolution screen. The new Pixelbook features Google’s Voice Assistant service which is the first computer to come with this service.

The new Pixelbook is powered by seventh-generation Intel i7 processor and it offers 512GB NVMe. The Pixelbook offers 10 hours of battery backup with single charge which features soft touch keys as well. The new Pixelbook prices start from $999 to $1649. You can have plenty of choice with the RAM and storage options as per your requirements.

Apart from this, you can add one more accessory to this high end device and that is the Stylus Pen. Yes, you can use an additional Stylus Pen just like Samsung’s Note devices to operate things out. The Pixelbook Pen is priced at $99 which you have to buy separately. Preorders for this Pen has begun already and it will start shipping to the market from October 31st.

New Google Daydream

Google has also launched a new Google Daydream which is an update to the last year’s Google Daydream. The new Google Daydream is now compatible with the latest high end devices including the Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8, LG V30.



The new Google Daydream comes with three color options including gray, black, or coral pink. The color options are as same as the new Google Home speakers. The new Google Daydream is priced at $99 and it will be available in the market from the November month.
