Google has announced a mini version of its new Android Operating System for the Android One smartphones which are running on company’s stock Android OS. Google has showcased this OS back in May month in company’s official I/O conference. Well, the new mini edition of Android is here with Android Go, the mini edition of Android Oreo. The Android Go is also called a mini Oreo edition in the market which is ready to launch.
Google’s new Android Go edition does offer kind of the same user interface, however there are some interesting new things that you would notice once you upgrade your existing Android device to this latest Android Go edition. The new operating system is designed for the budget Android devices.
Since, Android latest Operating System, Android 8.0 Oreo is only compatible with high-end smartphones, many Android users were not happy with the decision on making it exclusively for the high-end smartphones. Well, the company has announced the mini version of Oreo for the budget Android devices.
The company has made this announcement of its upcoming, Android Go Operating System at an event in India. The company has already mentioned everything in the official blog post by saying that, there are more Android users in India than the United States. In fact, most of them are using a budget friendly Android device and to provide them the feel of the new Android Oreo update, they can now taste out it on their phones.
