By | August 1, 2018

Epic Games is making the headlines with their amazingly popular and free-to-play game, Fortnite Battle Royale. The game is currently the most anticipated one for Android platform as the game is yet to come on the Android platform. Fortnite’s Mobile edition was launched for iOS platform and other gaming consoles, but not for the Android platform. If you’ve been waiting for Fortnite for Android, then here we have prepared a report to know everything about it.

Well, the new Fortnite Battle Royale for Android is soon launching, however, you would not be able to get this game from the official Play Store. Yes, you heard that right. The new Fortnite for Android game will not be available on the Play Store and you would not be able to get it from there on your Android device.

According to XDA Developers, the Fortnite’s Android version will not be published on the Play Store. For that, you have to download and install the game through their official webpage. This is a simple process and all you have to do is just go to their official website and install this game to a respective Android device. Once you get to it, you will be asked to let the third-party game install to your device. Since the game will not be available on the Play Store, you have to give proper permission to install this game on a device.

Currently, Fortnite for iOS from the Epic Site is restricted to use the App Store. The setup process on the Android platform would completely be different than the iOS platform.

You might be wondering why would Epic do such a thing? Well, initially, you have to go to their official website to download the game for your Android device. However, gradually the same game would be bypassed to the Play Store and we would be able to get it from the Play Store. All we have to do is wait for a couple of months. Epic might think about collecting the data of the Android users through their website. With proper permissions, they would collect the data of the users.

Google requires 30% of fees of their in-app purchases and this could be the reason behind Epic is not going to launch this game on the Play Store. So for initial few months, Android users have to go for this game via their official website.

You have to go for the third party source to get this game installed to your Android device. This is not a great and secured way to install any apps or games to your device. This would open the doors to the hackers who would be able to create fake accounts of the Fortnite Games easily. The hackers would easily fool the non-tech-savvy users and encourage them to download the harmful malware to their devices through different ads and links within the game.

If we talk about the iOS edition, you can get this game installed to your iOS device right from the App Store. Epic pays 30% to Apple for placing their in-game purchases features. Hopefully, Epic would eventually launch this game on the Play Store, but after a few months.
