Last month, Essential has started rolling out the Android Oreo Beta update for company’s first PH-1 smartphone. Today, Essential has announced that the new Android 8.0 Oreo Beta 2 update is also rolled out for the PH-1 smartphone over-the-air. Yes, an OTA update pushed to the PH-1 smartphone with a build number OPM1.170911.213.
According to reports, the new update of the Oreo Beta for Essential phone has been rolled out and is now available on a few Essential phone users. The update will take some time to reach out to your phone since the update rolls out via OTA. The update is live now and you will officially get the update on your Essential phone i.e. PH-1 very soon.
To recall the first Android Oreo Beta update for the Essential Phone, many users have found hundreds of bugs and errors which is the main reason behind launching the second Oreo Beta update for the phone. Just like other updates, the new Oreo Beta 2 update fixes all the bugs and issues faced by the users who have complaint about the bugs.

As we have already mentioned above that, it will take a couple of more days for the update to reach to your Essential Phone. For that, you have to wait for it. If for some reason, you don’t see any notification about this new update on your phone’s display, you can check for the new update manually as well.
In order to check for the new Android update on your Android device, all you have to do is just go to your phone’s Apps menu and then scroll down and select About Phone option. From here, you need to select check for update option. The system will itself start checking for the new update. If the new update is available for your device, you can download the update from there. After this, you can easily install the update to upgrade your device with the new Android Oreo Beta 2 update.
