Essential Phone Camera update brings YouTube and Facebook 360 streaming


Andy Rubin’s much talked smartphone, Essential gets an update to its Camera app. Essential developers have been testing out the new update for a long time and they have finally released the update for the Essential Phone users. As per the reports, the new Camera app is up with¬†build number 0.1.091. The new camera app improves its ability and now supports YouTube Live 360. Yes, you can now broadcast 360 videos through the phone on Facebook and YouTube.

In order to make use of this new update, users of the Essential Phone need to have a proper 360 Camera accessory of the phone. This accessory was introduced during the launch of the Essential Phone. The Essential Phone Camera is designed specially for this phone which itself attaches to the camera of your phone.

The Essential Phone Camera accessory is equipped with powerful functions. The camera accessory has its own Qualcomm Snapdragon 8035 processor to perform faster. Apart from this, it features 12 Megapixel of lenses to get you the best performance.

Essential Phone offers a variety of pre-installed apps along with the device including the Essential Camera app. The new update is only limited to the Camera app of the device. Just like every Android app update, you could see a notification regarding this update on the display of your phone. You can tap on the message and you will be able to update the app from there.
