Basically, there are two ways with which one can download Blocked files in Gmail or some files having an issue downloading. If you are receiving such error while downloading attachments from your Gmail’s inbox, you could use one of the methods enlisted below. Method 1 : Save Blocked Files to your Goole Drive

It is always recommended to search for a solution on Google if you are having some troubles with any of Google’s services. Method 2 : Open Email in Outlook

If you search for the solution to open blocked files in Gmail, most of the people have suggested this solution. You can try this as well. Just follow these simple steps to open the blocked files right away.

Step 1 :

Go to the Inbox and select the email with an attachments of Blocked files or errors.

Step 2 :

Now, at the upper right side of the email, you should see More option. Kindly click on this option and a drop down menu will appear.

Step 3 :

From the Drop down menu, Select Show Original option.

Step 4 :

At the bottom left side of the page, you should see Download original option. Click on this option.

Step 5 :

Save the downloaded file with .eml extension. You have to select this option during the downloading process.

Step 6 :

Now, you just need to open this file with any other email client installed on your PC like Outlook or any other one. Just select the file and open the Zip file. You would be able to explore all the files within that particular attached files.
