The final Oreo Beta update for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones look like a stable Oreo update, however, if for some reason you don’t want to use it by now, there is an option with which you can simply downgrade it with the original Android Nougat Operating System.

Once you download the Nougat Firmware and the Odin tool, you are good to go ahead with the downgrade process.
How to Downgrade Galaxy S8/ S8 Plus from Oreo to Nougat?
Step 1 :
Make sure to enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock on your Android smartphone. If you are not aware about this option, just go ahead and enable it from the Settings option of your device. You can follow below given path for the same.
Go to : Settings >> Developer Option. Make sure to tap here for 7 times to open these option. After that, tap on the Toggle button to enable the USB Debugging and OEM Unlock options.
Step 2 :
After this, make sure to download the Nougat Firmware from the above mentioned link.
Step 3 :
After this, download the Odin tool and extract the downloaded Zip file.
Step 4 :
Now, run the Odin’s setup file on your PC. The file should be there with .exe extension.
Step 5 :
After this, connect your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone with data cable. Reboot the device into the Download/ Odin mode.
Step 6 :
In order to enter into the Download mode, just reboot your device and press and hold the Bixby button and Volume down button simultaneously. Press the Power button once you see the Download Window on your display.
Step 7 :
After you enter into Download mode, the ID: COM section should be turned in blue color on the home page. This means, the tool has officially recognised your device and you are good to go with the process.
Note : If you don’t see ID: COM section in blue color, there might be some issues with your PC’s drivers. Make sure your drivers are up to date and then perform the same operation.
Step 8 :
After this, you have to locate and add stock firmware file .tar or .md5 file into AP/PDA section on the Odin tool.
Step 9 :
On the Odin tool, make sure these options are ticked “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time“
Step 10 :
After completing all the options, hit the Start button to start the process.
Step 11 :
The process will take a few seconds to be done. Soon, you would see a Pass message in Green color on the Odin tool.
Congratulations! You have successfully downgraded your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone to the original Android Nougat Operating System. This is by far the most easiest way to downgrade an Android OS to the required one.
