By the end of this year, you’re going to get your very own personal assistant of Amazon on Windows 10. You can just say, “Hey Cortana, open Alexa!” and your device will do the tasks for you. If you have the Amazon Echo connected, you can say it an alternative way of approaching the Microsoft assistant, directly. The Amazon and Microsoft are together ensuring the digital assistants work in collaboration with voice-driven commands. The companies have been giants in the reach as Microsoft has around 145 million active monthly Cortana users that use the Windows 10 while Amazon succeeded in selling the Echo to many people, this year.
As the two companies partner, you can now take the advantage of online shopping of Alexa through your PC or say the Cortana’s calendar integration on your Windows. Just like any other collaboration, it is going to clunky as you have to ask one assistant to start the other. Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon says that the chaos will soon be understood as the primary assistant of the collaboration will defer all the tasks to the second assistant. It’s his idea that Amazon took to Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft. Initially, both of them were troubled because of the incompatibility which reduced the usage and now they came up with this idea of giving access so that the users can take advantages of both the digital assistants.
