PayPal has finally rolled out the Samsung Pay integration for the consumers. We all were aware about PayPal’s integration with Samsung’s own digital payment service, Samsung Pay. Well, the service is finally available and yo can now use PayPal on Samsung Pay in the United States.
With the PayPal integration, the consumers of Samsung Pay service will be able to send and receive money through their own PayPal account using Samsung Pay service. The service will be integrated within Samsung Pay’s application.
Adding your personal PayPal account to Samsung Pay is pretty easy. For that, first you have to look for an update of your Samsung Pay application. The update will bring the PayPal integration to your Samsung Pay service. You would be able to access this option at the Debit card or Credit card option.
“It’s convenient for consumers, because Samsung Pay works with both NFC and MST – that is, it works almost anywhere you can swipe or tap a card,” said PayPal.
Interestingly, Samsung will continue to give you reward points on the money which you spend through Samsung Pay using your PayPal’s account. When you send money through PayPal, Samsung will give you reward points to your account just like any other normal transactions.
Google’s own Google Pay has this PayPal integration since for a long and now Samsung is also adding the PayPal integration to their Samsung Pay service. Compared to Google Pay and Apple Pay, Samsung’s Samsung Pay is quite an easy alternative to Google Pay as it uses both NFC and MST. MST works is able to simulate a magnetic strip for store locations for using this service for transactions.

How to add PayPal to Samsung Pay?
- Go to the Payment method on Samsung Pay
- Click on to the + icon to add a new Payment service
- Under the “Add payment card” section, you could ass “Add PayPal”, select Add PayPal option
- You would be asked to enter Samsung Pay passcode or biometric information
- Press Next button and you would be able to create PIN for in-store purchases
- Next, you need to select the funding source for the same
- At last, select Click & Continue option
Many of the users have already started using this service and they were able to deduct funds from PayPal through Samsung Pay service. The new PayPal support is gradually rolling out and you should see a new feature pop-up on the Samsung Pay or you would be able to get the same from a new Samsung Pay update.
