Android Oreo Beta leaked for US Unlocked Galaxy Note 8 smartphone


Samsung is currently working on its stable Oreo update for the high-end smartphones. After completing the beta testing of Android Oreo on Galaxy S8 smartphone, the company is planning to release the same update for the Note 8 device. Well, Android Oreo beta OTA update leaked for Galaxy Note 8 smartphone on the US Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. Yes, the Note 8 will get the Oreo update very soon. 

The new Android Oreo beta update is currently seen on the Verizon’s version of Note 8 which is powered by the Snapdragon Processor. The update is specially designed for the US region as of now as it is only leaked in the US carrier only. The update is available only for one version of the Note 8 with model number SM-M950U.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone on August 23rd. There were rumors that the South Korean giant will announce the Note 8 running on an Android Oreo update, but somehow the phone was released with the Nougat update. Soon after that, the giant has confirmed the Oreo update for the Note 8 device. But still the update is not available and people who bought the Note 8 are anxiously waiting for this update globally.

As the update is already leaked on the Internet, Samsung has to release it as soon as possible. Many tech blogs have confirmed that the Oreo update will hit the Galaxy Note 8 devices globally via OTA in next few days. Initially, Samsung will release the update in the US region only and soon the update will reach out to other countries as well.

It is still unclear whether Samsung will release the update with its Beta edition or will release the full stable version. However, we believe that the new Oreo update for Galaxy Note 8 phone will only be available with its beta version. People will first test out the update and give proper feedbacks on the official forum page and then they will release the final version for the devices.

We are not sure about the performance of this update on the Note 8, however people who have got this update took to Reddit and confirmed that the new Oreo beta is working fine on their Note 8 with smooth UI and better performance. So if you are using the Note 8 device, get ready for the new Oreo update as the giant will soon release the update via OTA for the Galaxy Note 8 devices globally.

If we talk about the current scenario, Google has already released the next edition of its Oreo update with Android 8.1 Oreo. The update is now rolling out for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices via OTA. Interestingly, Nexus 6P phone is also getting the same Oreo 8.1 update via OTA. Google has released this update for the Google-based devices. You can even install the update via Factory Images for a respective Android devices.

Samsung has successfully tested out the Android 8.0 Oreo update on the Galaxy S8 smartphone. The same is available for the Galaxy S8+ phones. Now, the update is making its way to the Note 8 devices. Samsung has also claimed that they will release the stable Oreo update for all these devices in the early 2018. So we can expect the same from next year for the high-end devices.

Other giants are also releasing the same Oreo update for their respective high-end Android based smartphones. So we could see more devices running on a latest, Android 8.0 Oreo update in the coming year. The future smartphones will be running on the Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Apart from this, the giant has also released the new Android Go Operating System for the mid-range or we can say budget-friendly Android smartphones in the market. The new Android Go update is also called as the mini Oreo update for the budget Android devices. Hopefully, we would get to see the Oreo powered mid-range devices in the market in future.
