ZTE has launched its Nubia 5S mini smartphone for the U.S. market and the device will be called Nubia 5S mini LTE over there. Unveiled initially in China last year, the handset is entering the western market only now.
Talking of the specifications of the ZTE Nubia 5S mini, the handset is given a 4.7 inch HD IGZO display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It incorporates a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that is supplemented by Adreno 350 graphics engine for intense graphic performance and 2 GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking.
On the imaging department, the ZTE handset comes packed with a 13 MP main camera at its back with LED flash for enhanced low light performance, f2.2 aperture, FHD 1080p video recording and a five-element lens. This camera is accompanied by a front-facing 5 MP camera that assists in video conferencing and in clicking great looking selfies. There is 16 GB of storage capacity in the Nubia 5S mini and this can be further extended by another 32 GB via a micro SD card.
Connectivity features onboard the ZTE offering running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean including 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS and there is a 2,000 mAh battery that can energize the handset for a moderate duration.
The ZTE Nubia 5S mini LTE is priced at $279.99 and it is up for pre-order on Amazon, while its sale will debut on August 27.
