YotaPhone Dual-Screen Smartphone ready to Launch in India

The Russian Smartphone Manufacturer Yota has ready to launch its first Smartphone in India. Its dual-display YotaPhone, is all ready to launch its first device in India via famous e-commerce website Flipkart. The first generation YotaPhone was disclosed at CES last year 2013 while its shipping started only in the month of December 2013. And now the company has upgraded its original dual-screen smartphone at MWC with the next-generation YotaPhone.


The YotaPhone (2014) has a 5-inch AMOLED  Full HD  front display with a pixel density of 442 ppi pixel density. And its back there is a 4.7-inch E-ink display which is best for the e-book reading. The next-generation YotaPhone is empowered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU, and that is paired with a 2 GB of RAM. The Smartphone is packed with a 32 GB of built-in storage whereas no information about expandable storage. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with along LED flash and  2-megapixel front-facing camera is also offered by the company’s for video calling and taking selfie’s.

It measures only  8.9 mm thin and weighs 140 grams. It supports nano-SIM and packed with a 2550 mAh battery. This phone has lots of connectivity option such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB 3.0, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS and Glonass, and NFC.

The company at the launch had claimed that the new YotaPhone (2014) is more ‘intuitive and interactive‘, with  its new hardware and software combination as compared to its predecessor. But what will the price of this phone in India is not be unveiled by the manufacturer or by the e-commerce website Flipkart.
