wWhere address exchange messenger gets angel funding of $190k from angel investors. The company has developed beta version of the app plans to roll out in Android and iOS environment shortly.

wWhere app has unique features based on maps and navigation systems. User has to download the app from their respective environment. Once downloaded user can send location in real time and can send saved location to anyone in phonebook of the mobile in few clicks.

If user need to know where his contact located by asking request location on the app. This feature is very helpful to locate the meeting place or to locate the person.


User can group 10 friends on a single map with privacy intact which means none of the people will know each other location. At the same time, it is easy to locate nearest and dearest people to ensure their safety without disturbing them.

wWhere has navigation facility user will get turn by turn voice navigation to any location. Added feature of expected time of arrival and directions which provides estimated time to reach for any location that can be shared within the app. The app provides multiple driving direction options for each location.

The app provide in app messaging that is real time chat facility within the app. User can save locations too such their favourite cafes, shops, office, gym or home. They can navigate to them from anywhere in a single click.


The beta phase of testing saw 532 users with 14539 shared locations with 3580 locations saved in 52 cities. The company was founded in 2013 by Ritam Bhatnagar. He is a graduate in Bachelor of Science from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad and went on to do Master of Business Administration in Marketing from BK School of Management in 2010.

He was faculty member of Endeavor Careers for brief stint of 4 months and moved to PrimeMover as Head of Operations in 2009. He established the Sunset Boulevard Film Club acquired by PVR Group. Parallel to his tenure he became Operations Head for International Film Festival in Ahmedabad. He worked with PrimeMover till September 2010.

Once again he had brief stint with Enlighten Film Company for 4 months where he handled Marketing and Operations of the company. He worked for film festivals MAMI and Third Eye Asian Film Festival.
In July 2012 he became Team member of Global Shapers Community which is an initiative of World Economic Forum, he is the founding member of the Ahmedabad region.


In between he became Visiting Faculty for BK School of Business Management, HL College and Shanti Business School. He is the founder director of Freeway Entertainment Company which looks into production, marketing and distribution of National and Regional Feature films. Apart from this he is founder director of India Film Project. The project encouraged more than 18000 filmmakers in past 4 years to make a film. India Film Project has seen participation from more than 11 countries, 89 cities, 10,600 filmmaker competing against each other to make 800+ films in 50 hours.

wWhere is incubated at CIIE of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The company received angel funding from Ashim Mehra, Vice President, Baron Capital, New York and Anunay Gupta, co founder of Marketelligent. The funds will be used for product development and marketing.

The company based out of Ahmedabad and the app will be officially launched next month. “We are working for a global launch, targeting countries in Asia, Australia and Europe,” said Ritam Bhatnagar. He further added “Postal addresses are still a major way to communicate location details. But, often it is difficult to locate addresses. That is why we thought of a location details-exchange app,”
