Windows Phone Market Share Raises in US

According to the latest report of the comScore, data which shows  that the Windows Phone market share gains in United States. The data of the comScore has claimed that the 3.3 percent in the Market Shore of the Windows Phone in April now gains to 3.6 percent in the month of July in this year 2014.

But still Android is the number one Smartphone Operating system. The report claims that the market share go down from 52.5 percent in the month of April to 51.5 percent in July. Whereas the Apple iOS, the number two smartphone OS, saw its market share rise from 41.4 percent to 42.4 percent in the same time frame. And the BlackBerry is fourth and saw its share drop from 2.5 to 2.3 percent. And the Nokia’s Old dragon Symbian is in fifth position, dropping from 0.2 to 0.1 percent.



And the leading smartphone OEM in the US is still Apple, which near around 42.4 percent of the industry’s market share in July of this year, up from 41.4 percent in April, after that the Korean Smartphone manufacturer Samsung is in second place with 28.4 percent, up from 27.7 percent. And the LG is a distant third with 6.4 percent, followed by Motorola at 5.7 percent and HTC at 4.7 percent.The report also showed that 173 million people in the U.S. owned smartphones in July, up by three percent compared to April.
