Windows Phone 8.1update rolling Out from 24th June

Today Microsoft has launched two new Smartphones in India, which runs on latest Windows 8.1 operating system. They also announced that the Windows 8.1 update for other Windows 8 devices from 24th June of this year. The Redmond-based firm will start sending out WP8.1 OS updates to Windows Phone 8 Smartphones starting June 24.

The Windows Phone  8.1 OS will be providing updates for 36 months (3 years) for all the devices, which are running on the  Windows Phone 8.1 from the Lifecycle start date that is June 24. The main stream support will be ended 11 June 2017. The Update will be rolled out might be the launch of the Nokia Lumia 930, which will be available in the month June. The Nokia Lumia 930 is a flagship device on  the Microsoft (Nokia) and the successor of the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 925.

The Latest operating system update brings lots of new features for its user’s such as-

  • Bevy of lock screen personalization features.
  • It comes with the Microsoft Action Center
  • The new swipe-down notification
  • Settings pane can be accessed anywhere in the OS
  • Ability to change the background for the Start screen
