White house planning to expand the solar power use

Now a day, Solar Industry is growing and working really well in US, but White House wants to increase its use further. Due to this the administrative people has launched a new initiative to broaden solar power use and make it available to more and more people. They are also eyeing more jobs in the industry through this initiative.

To start this project, government is planning to install 300 megawatts of solar and other type of renewable energy in federally subsidized houses. Some organizations are also promising to present 260 solar projects to help the low income families in more than 20 states.

US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will offer technical assistance to the communities. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) will make easy to borrow the money. The Government has collaborated with some of companies and organization to create some job opportunity.

For example, AmeriCorps is planning to train around 40 people and then they will be transferred to help to fit houses with solar panels. HUS, DOE and the Department of Education will help in creating more educational opportunity for renewable energy sector.
