WhatsApp has added the Android Wear support to the beta version earlier this month and now the non-beta version of the messaging app has been updated to include the full support for the Android Wear Operating System. The latest version has came up with a build number v2.11.362 and it is available on the general Play Store release, so for the users who don’t want to use the beta version can get the richer WharsApp chat notification on their Android wear devices.
The WhatsApp latest update includes most of the standard wear messaging stuff, nested/stacked messages, full long message viewing with the slide navigation between them and the usual reply using the voice option. Now the incoming messages can be ousted with just a swipe, just like all the Android notification you deal with. Additionally, this update also includes bug fixes, improved message storage reliability.
Here is the complete changelog of the new WhatsApp update,
- Added Android wear support
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
- Improved message storage and reliability
- Few design tweaks
Although, the latest update doesn’t feature any significant changes Android Wear support is the good deal. WhatsApp is available for free and supports on the Android 2.1 or higher versions. For the full access to the WhatsApp it costs $1 per year. If you are using an Android Wear device, then grab this update and view the WhatsApp messages right from your wrist.
