The smartwatch market has been growing very fast in last one year and currently almost all the top smartphone companies Including Apple, Samsung, LG and Huawei are trying their hands in smartwatch business. This has been golden period for smartwatch market sector. One major player in smartphone sector is missing and that is HTC, as it has not launched any smartwatch till now. But it looks like this scenario is going to change soon.

According to the usually reliable leakster @evleaks has shared a rather cryptic message on its twitter handler. The tweets reads, “HTC fans, you’ll finally have One watch to call your own come February.” This tweet suggests that HTC may launch its brand new smartwatch in February next year.

The rumors of HTC smartwatch have been around for more than a year, but there has not been any official announcement from the company. We may see an official announcement about the HTC smart wearable device at Mobile World Congress 2016. The smartphone maker may also announce new flagship phone at the event.

There are lots of questions in our mind like will HTC really going to release a smartwatch? How this new smartwatch from HTC will look like? What sort of features it will have? We don’t have answers to any of these questions yet. We can just hope that HTC really launch its smartwatch this time, as almost all smartphone makers and even some traditional watch makers are making their own smartwatch.
