Wassup, Indian on-demand laundry service provider has acquired Ezeewash, another on-demand startup working in the same domain. The deal is a full-equity deal and it’ll allow Wassup to capture the Hyderabad market owned by Ezeewash.
The Hyderabad based startup provides services in the twin city of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It has been operational since 3 years and has already delivered over 8000 orders. It does over 100 orders per day on an average. On the other hand, Wassup was started in 2011 with current operations in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi and Pune. It provides services such as laundry, dry-cleaning, bags and shoes refurbishment.
Ravi Kumar Pinjala, Founder and CEO of Ezeewash, will take over as VP in Wassup for AP and Telangana regions. This was the second acquisition by Wassup, after it acquired another startup in the same domain, Chamak.
