Today, Google has updated its fitness tracker app Google Fit with some new and useful features. This update makes Google Fit more accurate and capable fitness tracking apps. The updated fitness tracker app from Google shows you real-time stats for your runs, walks and bike rides on your smartphone. The app also records your speed, pace, elevation and route.
This fitness tracker app can also show you strength training data. This means that you keep track of your push-ups or sit-ups via this app, but you have to own an Android wear Watch for this. If you are doing your strength training wearing an Android Wear Watch, this app will count your push-ups, sit-ups and squats.
Now, Google Fit can integrate with some other sleep and nutrition tracking Android apps to show these sleep and nutrition data. This will allow you to manage your workouts with good sleeping and nutrition habit. If you are wearing any fitness tracking band like Xiaomi Mi Band, Mi Band 1S or Sony Smartband 2, you’ll get better picture of your fitness activity data with this app.
Google Fit update is currently rolling out, so you can download it from Google Play Store. According to the company, nutrition and sleep tracking feature will roll out in few days.
