Twitter Drones to help post Photos & Videos in Tweets

By | December 24, 2015

A few media reports recently have been making rounds about a patent by Twitter. The Unnamed Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which might just change the way people use social media in future.

Not giving too much of details about the patent and device, a spokesperson from Twitter described the device in just two words, “Drone Selfies”, making it pretty evident to understand the concept of self controlled drones which might come handy in near future for scenarios like live streaming of an event etc.

Earlier this year, there was a new app launched by Twitter, Periscope. It now seems that Twitter might just use that app with drones to make it more convenient and hassle free to stream live broadcast to Twitter accounts.

More details on this are awaited. Stay tuned.
