Twitch launches Private chat option “Whisper” for Android users

Twitch has launched its new private chat feature named Whisper, which was unveiled almost six months ago. This new feature from Twitch is going to roll out for a bunch of Android users initially and based on the response the company will roll out this feature widely. If you get the update notification, then you can use this feature otherwise you can do nothing except waiting.

The company wrote on its Official blog about this new Whisper feature. According to the blog, this new whisper feature from Twitch will allow its users to communicate with their friends, subscribers and followers through a private chat without even leaving current chat. The company said that this feature will roll out for iOS platform once it gets enough feedbacks. The company has also added various languages on Android and iOS platforms, so that you can whisper to any person irrespective of what language they speak.

At TwitchCon this year, the live streaming service company had announced some changes to its on demand video service, which is rolling out now. The Thumbnail Editing support is currently available for everyone, but you can’t add your image as thumbnail. Twitch will automatically create various options of thumbnails for any previous broadcasts. Some other customization feature will roll out soon.
