How to turn off Kinect microphone on Xbox One for multiplayer games

It has 8 GB RAM out of which 5 GB is available to the games and has 500 GB internal hard drive. It features 4K display with 1080 x 720 p resolution.

There is one thing with Xbox One that everyone will get embarrassed that Kinnect microphone will be on when playing the multiplayer games. So when you are playing the multiplayer games then there is a chance of other people might hear the things which you don’t want them to hear. In this article I am going to explain how to turn off the kinnect microphone when playing in multiplayer mode on Xbox One.


 How to turn off Kinect microphone on Xbox One for multiplayer games

  • Go to the settings menu on Xbox One. To go to settings press the menu button on your controller or give the voice command, “Xbox, go to settings”.
  • Now select Kinnect.
  • Here uncheck the checkbox beside “Use kinnect microphone for chat”.

That’s it, now you have turned off the Kinnect microphone, but still voice commands will work even when this setting is turned off.  Now noe one can can listen what are talking when you are playing in multiplayer mode on Xbox One. You would have wondered that why you are hearing other people talking or having the conversation with somebody else in the room, they might don’t know that Kinnect is broadcasting everything what they speak.
